Job Description
Magna is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group. The candidate will work in a manufacturing environment and will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery, plant support systems, and automation equipment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical problems
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) schedules (as required) on machinery and Plant Support equipment
- Suggest preventative measures to minimize or eliminate breakdowns
- Maintain correct safety standards at all times
- Complete all check sheets and records as it relates to the P.M. program, Work Orders, etc.
- Member of the Emergency Response Team
- Capable of instructing maintenance personnel in trade related tasks and skills
