Summary This journey-level Preservationist, WG/XA-09, handles building, restoring, and maintaining historic structures and landscapes for the NPS, including buildings, monuments, and memorials. Work requires expertise in trades like carpentry and painting, following federal standards. The role supports maintenance at Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Responsibilities At the full performance level (WG-09) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Maintenance and preservation of historic and non-historic structures.
