Southwire Company, LLC is seeking a Powerline Technician in Vaughan, Canada. This off-site role focuses on the safe repair of medium and high voltage underground cables using advanced techniques.
In this responsible position, you will utilize Novinium's technology to rejuvenate underground cables, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operating various equipment. Successful candidates will have previous experience as a Lineman or Cable Splicer, with skills in fault location and repair, inline splices, and terminations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate TDR and RF locating equipment for analysis
• Inject cables with Novinium repair fluids
• Switch medium voltage electrical circuits safely
• Manage injection process and project coordination
• Provide positive customer service interactions
