Job Description
Join the Lower Nicola Indian Band as a Power Engineer managing facility maintenance. This position focuses on operating equipment and supervising an apprentice while ensuring utility services across various sites.
As a Power Engineer, you'll be instrumental in maintaining boilers, pumps, HVAC, and other critical equipment. Your expertise will ensure efficient operation for the Lower Nicola Indian Band School, Administration Offices, and Health Centre. You'll monitor, troubleshoot, and conduct maintenance to prevent system failures, while overseeing the needs of an apprentice engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate control systems and various utility equipment
• Start up and shut down power plant machinery as needed
