Job Description
AV Group NB Inc. is a company operating two pulp mills in New Brunswick. AV Group NB Inc. Atholville Mill is currently recruiting for the following position: Power Engineer – Steam & Recovery Operator. As the Steam & Recovery Operator you will operate and maintain a power plant or any low pressure steam plant by operating, repairing and carrying out preventative maintenance on the boilers, emergency power, and other related equipment of the facility in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Key Responsibilities
Monitor control of operation through DCS (distributed computer system) Effectively troubleshoot equipment Maintain accurate and thorough log entries and perform necessary testing Optimize and control materials to efficiently treat and dispose into recovery system Work in collaboration of other operators Lubricates, oils, and assists in preventative maintenance on all machinery Maintains proper housekeeping in all related steam plant areas Responds to trouble ...
