Job Description
Position Summary
The Postdoctoral Scholar will support the development, integration, commissioning, operation, and scientific execution of SALER (Superconducting Array for Low Energy Radiation) experimental activities at FRIB.
Major Duties/Responsibilities
+ technical leadership for the integration of SALER detector systems within the FRIB infrastructure
+ coordination with FRIB staff
+ support for first rare isotope beam experiment using SALER
+ participation in FRIB-based experimental campaigns
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
+ expertise in superconducting quantum sensors and/or fundamental symmerties
+ Ability to conduct research
+ Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively and credibly, both verbally and in writing, with all audiences.
+ Proficiency in experimentation, data analysis, and simulation
