Overview

Aalto University’s School of Chemical Engineering invites Postdoctoral Researchers for AI‑driven atomistic modeling and AI‑accelerated cheminformatics at the Otaniemi Center for Atomic‑scale Materials Modeling (OCAMM), part of the project “Materials AI for accelerated industrial R&D” funded by Business Finland.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the research team and partner companies on high‑performance simulations and data‑driven modeling of materials and molecules. Develop and validate machine‑learning interatomic potentials, automate high‑throughput simulation workflows, and contribute to the design of new materials and processes. Work closely with experimentalists and the Finnish national supercomputing center, CSC.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in computational chemistry, physics, or materials science (or closely related field).
