Job Description
The Jaspan lab at Center for Global Infectious Disease Research at Seattle Childrenโs Research Institute (https://www.seattlechildrens.org/research/centers-programs/global-infectious-disease-research/research-areas-and-labs/jaspan-lab/) is seeking applications for a post-doctoral fellow. The Jaspan lab focusses on host-microbial interactions at mucosal surfaces and their impact on immunity and disease susceptibility, primary in the infant gut and adolescent/ maternal genital tracts. The fellow will focus on multi-omics data analysis, such as the immune-microbial alterations induced by live-biotherapeutic supplementation in early life, and microbial-metaproteomic consequences of contraceptive devices on the cervicovaginal environment. Ultimately, we hope to improve infectious morbidity in infants and young women globally.
