Posting Summary
The Singson laboratory at the Waksman Institute of Microbiology is seeking a postdoctoral associate to participate in our studies of reproductive biology in the C.elegans model system. Specifically, the candidate will contribute to our fertilization synapse, sperm activation, and sperm mitochondria dynamics projects. Experience with C.elegans genetics, reproduction, cell biology are required. Further, experience with protein-protein interaction methods like the split ubiquitin yeast-two hybrid method and SIM microscopy training will be needed. The individual will report directly to the laboratory Principle Investigator (PI).The scope of the work is primarily as a member of the Singson Lab research time. However scientific interactions at the Waksman Institute, Department of Genetics, and other relevant units will be required as the research progresses.
