Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the 834th U.S. Army Transportation Battalion located in Concord, California. Responsibilities Issue traffic citations and formal warnings to document violations and discourage unsafe driving behavior on the installation. Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic at controlled points to ensure orderly movement and prevent accidents during peak hours or special events. Operate a firearm in the performance of duty in accordance with proper procedures. Categorize Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AAE) to ensure proper handling and protect military munitions against sabotage, espionage, theft, or damage.
