BASIC PURPOSEThe Dispatcher will coordinate driver assignments and activities to ensure proper distribution service to our customers. Escalate issues whenever there are risks to proper service.
Schedule:
Sunday - Thursday
10pm - 6:30am
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate driver activities and shuttle assignments to resolve service issues and minimize overtime, downtime, and hours of service violations. Complete attendance trackers and verify that drivers are using Omnitracs properly.
Ensure that customer’s needs are being met in a prompt and professional manner and escalate issues (late dispatch, breakdown, other service failures) to managers and sales force. Reassign routes as needed to solve service issues , and ensure that drivers are logging in and utilizing Proof of Delivery scanner.
