Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the .This position serves as the irrigation specialist for the Golf Course Maintenance team at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. The primary responsibility is to maintain, repair, install, and operate the complex automated irrigation system. The job is physically strenuous, involving standing, bending, and lifting equipment weighing up to 40 pounds. It requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repair: Performs repairs and preventative maintenance on all components of the irrigation system, including sprinklers, water lines, valves, and electrical-mechanical remote control systems. This includes overhauling parts, cleaning electrical contacts, and replacing faulty components.
