Plating Lab Technician

The Plating Lab Technician is responsible for the monitoring, control, and maintenance of all plating baths. Also perform gold usage analysis and reports as well as other laboratory projects and analysis.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

1. Work with integrity in a team environment to support Plating Production.
2. Perform various analysis procedures to monitor the plating baths and water treatment systems in accordance to written procedures.
3. Maintain the Plating baths by making bath additions and performing necessary bath changes based on tests performed or guidance from a supervisor.
4. Perform post‑plating analysis; ionic contamination analysis, porosity analysis and gold usage analysis.
5. Work on various plating projects, including the maintenance and calibration of lab equipment.
6. Troubleshoot line problems.
7. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
