Job Description
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-available, scalable large-scale databases and search platforms using techonologies like PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
- Design and implement data integration and migration pipelines to ingest data from various data integration points including APIs, files, and/or other databases
- Improve platform availability and performance through use of SRE practices
- Conduct incident managment, including troubleshooting, resolution and post-mortem of the database and search platforms
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to fellow engineers as a subject matter expert in database and search platform engineering
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including projects, engineering, and operations to ensure platform and product usability and alignment to organisation goals
