Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Plant Operations
Lead
Steel Melting Shop (SMS), Furnace & Rolling Mill operations
Deliver consistent production exceeding
36,000 MT/month
Ensure smooth conversion from
scrap/sponge iron to finished TMT bars
2. Technical & Process Excellence
Drive performance of:
Induction furnaces (uptime, fuel efficiency)
Rolling mill productivity & yield
Implement
TPM, TQM, Lean Manufacturing, OEE improvements
Ensure
first-time-right quality and process stability
3. Financial & Cost Control (P&L Ownership)
Own plant-level
manufacturing P&L
Drive reduction in:
Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
Rejections, rework, wastage
Optimize energy, fuel, and consumables
4. Capacity Expansion & Projects
Lead
debottlenecking initiatives
Execute expansion plans from
0.40 MTPA to 0.60 MTPA
Manage capex projects (~₹100–150 Cr) with timelines a...
