Position Summary
The Value Chain Optimization (VCO) team has an opening for a Planning & Optimization Engineer supporting the Anacortes WA Refinery. This role reports through the VCO West Region to the Refining Economics & Planning Manager.
This individual will develop, optimize, and execute logistics planning and commodity scheduling while working closely with the E&P team to identify and advance optimization opportunities. This position works across organizations, including but not limited to MPLX, Commercial Scheduling, Commercial Planning & Optimization, and Refinery Products Control. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator with interest in learning refinery economics and MPC’s commercial side of the business.<...
