**Description**:
Make purchases and supplies of material directly for the production area, in such a way as to ensure continuity according to the production program and have zero online stoppages due to material shortages.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Review of MRP requirements, placement, expedition, cancellation and rescheduling of purchase orders.
- In case of short material for production, follow up and ensure that it arrives on time.
Lead with the departments involved until the material is delivered.
- Provide feedback on shorts in appropriate reports such as shortages report and expedite report.
- Maintain inventory at optimal levels according to needs.
- In case of obsolete inventory, keep the information updated in the quarterly obsolete report and follow up on the disposition of the same within the department.
