Key responsibilities: Overseeing daily mining operations for enhanced efficiency and productivity Plan, organise, lead and monitor the production process Providing leadership and guidance to the mining team to achieve production targets Implementing, reinforcing, and ensuring compliance to safety standards and protocols Ensure optimal plant utilisation & availability Efficient people management harnessing collaboration and teamwork Collaborating with various departments to coordinate activities and resolve operational challenges Implementing best practices to improve overall pit performance Minimum requirements: Grade 12 Opencast Blasting Certificate Competent person A certificate National Diploma – Mining Engineering will be an advantage 10years relevant open cast experience 2years middle management experience Experience in Processing plant and mine planning - will be advantageous Computer literacy in MS Office Knowledge of relevant legislation In-depth knowledge of safety regulations...
