Job Description
Job Title: Pilot Plant Operator
Location: Wickliffe, Ohio
Job type: Full-time
Shift: 11pm-7am, Sunday–Thursday
What You’ll Do
- Operate chemical processing equipment and instrumentation during the 8‑hour night shift.
- Charge raw materials, handle chemicals, and provide technical information for chemical engineers and internal customers.
- Support all Lubrizol business segments by working on a range of development environments from 1‑12liter flasks to up‑to‑gallon reactors.
- Collaborate with process development engineers on new product and process development, raw‑material qualification, and process‑safety improvement projects.
- Produce material for market, including low‑volume products, intermediaries, or market‑development quantities to satisfy external customer needs.
