Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Arts and Crafts at Keesler AFB. This position is considered flexible. You are guaranteed 0 hours, however you could work up to 40 hours per week.. Uses power and manual tools and devices that typically involve continuous physical effort and extended periods of standing, bending, and stooping while assembling frames or assisting customers. Responsibilities Frames patron artwork or pictures following work order specifications. Selects finished wood or wood substitute/material from existing stock, measures and uses chopper to cut material to desired dimensions, and cuts stock with cutter or miter saw and glues or nails frame comers together. The incumbent uses small hand tools (e.g. hammer, drill, nail punch, glass scorer, mat knife, stapler, paper cutter) to assemble the picture frame.
