Job Description
Position Summary: The Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
This role utilizes warehouse technology and material handling equipment (electrical jack and Hi-lo) to retrieve products, build pallets, and prepare orders while maintaining productivity, accuracy, product quality, and food safety standards.
The Picker plays a critical role in supporting customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company operational standards.
Responsibilities: Retrieve picking assignments through warehouse scanning technology, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Accurately select products according to customer orders, product specifications, and operational requirements.
Verify product descriptions, quantities, lot codes, and order details to ensure order accuracy.
