Join Lifemark Seniors Wellness as a Casual Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant in Walkerton, ON. Support physiotherapy treatments and lead therapeutic exercise classes for seniors.
We are in search of a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to work part-time with Lifemark. This role involves assisting the physiotherapist with comprehensive treatment plans for seniors in residential settings. You will also facilitate exercise classes while ensuring a tidy and safe treatment environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid physiotherapist in executing treatment plans
• Perform prescribed treatments including strengthening exercises
• Teach safe group exercise classes for residents
• Prepare and clean treatment equipment and spaces
• Log treatments via our web-based system
Requirements:
• Diploma in PTA/OTA or degree in Kinesiology
• Previous long-term care experience preferred
• Recent Vulnerable Sector screening check
