Ciena, the global leader in adaptive networks, is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Hardware Test Development Engineer to contribute to the delivery of cutting‑edge automated calibration and verification solutions for our optical portfolio.
How You Will Contribute
- Develop and implement automated tests to support production lines, ensuring seamless integration.
- Provide essential test tools to the R&D team during prototype development phases.
- Partner with contract manufacturers to test beta prototypes, pre‑production, and high‑volume production units.
- Analyze production data to optimize test time and improve yields as production scales.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions for components, subsystems, and field failures.
