This float phlebotomist role focuses on performing venipuncture and blood collection procedures while supporting multiple locations within approximately 20–30 miles of Overland Park. Responsibilities
+ Perform venipuncture and blood draws safely, accurately, and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.
+ Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling of all specimens to maintain accuracy and traceability.
+ Prepare collection sites and equipment, including needles, tubes, and other phlebotomy supplies, to ensure safe and hygienic procedures.
+ Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff during blood collection.
