Job Description

A three-year PhD Research Fellowship is available at the Section for Cancer Cytogenetics, Department of Pathology, Oslo University Hospital, Norway.

The successful candidate will join an active and internationally recognized research environment focusing on cancer genomics and transcriptomics. The project will involve translational research aimed at improving our understanding of the genetic mechanisms underlying cancer development and progression.
The PhD candidate will work in close collaboration with clinicians, molecular biologists, and bioinformaticians and will have access to state-of-the-art technologies and research infrastructure. The candidate for this position will join an existing experienced group with established expertise in cancer genetics and cytogenetics and will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across multiple cancer forms in the field of solid tumors (mostly sarcomas).
