AHS is seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team at Canmore General Hospital Pharmacy. You will work to the full scope of practice and support secure, efficient, and high-quality patient care in all areas of medication distribution.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and perform sterile & non‑sterile compounding, final checks, repackaging, inventory and procurement activities. Check and dispense patient‑specific medication orders prepared by Pharmacy personnel. Mentor Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians, train new staff, and precept students while collaborating closely with pharmacists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Adhere to NAPRA and ACP standards, oversee delegated tasks, and contribute to operational activities and quality improvement initiatives.
