This role supports a high-volume pharmacy operation by accurately filling prescription orders, preparing and packaging medications, and maintaining a consistent workflow in a fast-paced production environment. The Pharmacy Clerk works under the supervision of a Pharmacist to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with pharmacy standards and privacy regulations, while collaborating closely with team members and contributing to a clean, organized, and quality-focused workplace.
Responsibilities
+ Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules, ensuring accuracy in count and medication selection.
+ Retrieve and process Unit of Use and bulk medication items from inventory for order fulfillment.
+ Read computer-generated screens to locate indicated medications on labeled shelves and verify the size and strength of products before filling orders.
