- Coordinate with Pharmacists to ensure proper handover protocols are followed, and provide daily reports to the Assistant Manager/ Manager of Pharmacy Services.
- Supervise the unit-dose drug dispensation and distribution, ensuring patients’ profiles and CPOE are reviewed to prevent drug interactions and to promote rational drug use. Contact the physician for inaccuracy of order / non-availability of medicine, providing the Clinical Pharmacist with relevant documentation.
- Ensure requisitions are issued and filled accurately, and prompt delivery of unit-dose medications to the Nursing unit is provided.
- Monitor and manage inventory stock levels, suggesting changes if necessary.
