Job Description
This travel pharmacist opportunity is based at a 25-bed critical access hospital in Wisconsin, providing a unique and rewarding setting to apply your pharmacy expertise. You will play a vital role supporting patient care across emergency, labor & delivery, and medical-surgical units with a patient census averaging 10 to 12 per day. The position offers exposure to Cerner EMR and Pyxis automation systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily medication dispensing and provide pharmaceutical care to patients in ER, L&D, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and ensure medication safety
- Utilize Cerner EMR and Pyxis systems to manage medication orders accurately and efficiently
