Job Description
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the acetylene plant is operated in the safest manner by following all Air Products safety requirements.
- Operate the filter press to prepare the dry sludge cake.
- Transfer sludge cake into jumbo bags.
- Prepare corrals with filter cloth for sludge filtration and ensure smooth operation.
- Update the corrals status and report to supervisor.
- Record filter press usage status and corrals usage status in checklist.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Start and shut down sludge facility plant as required by supervisor.
- Report to supervisor any plant abnormalities.
- Ensure good housekeeping of plants and peripheral areas.
- Optimize production output and achieve carbide yield.
Qualifications
- SRP/SPM holder.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in plant operations.
