Summer Cover Personal Assistant(s) for young disabled queer woman - Durham - DH7
Durham | £13.50 an hour | Part Time | Up to 8 hours a week | Fixed term: 22nd June – 27th September 2026. There may be the possibility to move to a permanent role from September. Statutory holiday pay included.
I’m Rebecca, a 32‑year‑old disabled queer woman and powered wheelchair user. I’m seeking one or two Personal Assistants to join my team of PAs on a temporary basis over summer to assist with my personal care, daily living and social needs in my family home. I live a few miles from Durham City Centre.
This role is not open to men. Applications from trans women and non‑binary people are actively welcomed. Previous care experience is not necessary. The exact hours and start/end dates are flexible if they do not align with the listed schedule.
