Become a vital part of WildBrain Studios as a Payroll Specialist in Vancouver, with a hybrid work model. Leverage your strong organizational skills to process payroll accurately and efficiently.
Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role requires 3+ years of payroll processing experience for a large employee base. You will handle full-cycle bi-weekly payroll using UKG, respond to payroll inquiries, and ensure compliance with company policies. This position also emphasizes teamwork and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union employees
• Resolve payroll inquiries from employees and external agencies
• Prepare year-end tax slips and government filings
• Support audits and ensure compliance with regulations
• Perform reconciliations for payroll-related accounts
