This Payroll Analyst role serves as a critical link between Payroll and Accounting, facilitating workload management across both teams. The position involves approximately 60% Accounting and 40% Payroll & Benefits responsibilities, with a significant focus on payroll accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with large datasets, possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, and be capable of supporting payroll operations when necessary.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries, accruals, and reclasses.
+ Reconcile payroll-related balance sheet and GL accounts.
