Job Description
Payment Operations Specialist
Location: Leon Office – Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day working from home per week.
What You’ll Do
- Review executed Escrow Agreements and Paying Agent Agreements to extract operational requirements and payment triggers.
- Monitor account activity to ensure all conditions are met before funds are moved.
- Ensure mandatory KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti‑Money Laundering) checks are completed.
- Initiate domestic and international transfers.
- Perform call‑back verifications with clients.
- Arrange the set up of new accounts and ensure account details are assigned.
- Maintain an important calendar and meet numerous deadlines.
- Support complex payment operations.
- Identify and escalate discrepancies between governing agreements and payment requests.
