**UW Medicine Insurance Eligibility and Financial Counseling Services Team (IECS)** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Per-Diem** **Patient** **F** **inancial Counselor** .
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ Per-Diem
+ Variable Shift
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ This is an onsite position for the first 6 months, with potential for transitioning to a hybrid work schedule upon successful completion of the probationary period
+ Participate in interviewing patients to determine appropriate insurance coverage and/or Financial Assistance
+ Refer uninsured patients for Medicaid/Financial eligibility screening
+ Prepare estimates of fees upon request from Patient Care Consultants
+ Review payment options with patients
