Job Description
The Patient Care Technician provides personal care and related services to patients. The Patient Care Technician may operate as a patient’s caregiver under the direction, instruction and supervision of a doctor, nurse and/or medical professional.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred
+ At least one (1) year of successful work experience preferred
+ National Certified Patient Care Technician (NCPCT) certification preferred and may be required per state/contract
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
