Job Description
- Coordinates daily activities within blood center. In this function, evaluates staffing, approves; roasters of Transfusion Officers, Technologists, Drivers and Distribution Department. Makes any necessary adjustments based on Blood Center needs.
- Supervise day to day operations of blood center such as daily performance of tasks, inventory problems, equipment malfunctions and quality control.
- Technical involvement at testing benches.
- Review of technical reports, temperature charts and data sheets.
- In concert with the laboratory supervisors complies with regulatory guidelines and revising laboratory procedures as necessary .
