Job Description
Defense Painter Aerospace and Vehicle Defense Parts Painter 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-3:30PM & Friday 6AM-10AM 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30AM-1AM & Friday 11AM-2PM Location: 2700 S Custer Ave, Wichita, KS 67217 Responsibilities:
- Mix ratios for a variety of paint
- Operate, use and clean a spray gun, HVLP and pressure pot
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking
- Apply paint using various techniques, including spray guns, and brushes
- Ensure that all painted products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with other tasks as needed
- At times, work in temperatures over 90 degrees
- Fast-paced work environment
- Dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with environmental laws and company regulations
