Become a vital part of Extendicare’s care team as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse. Deliver patient-oriented nursing care while adhering to provincial standards in a supportive environment.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the RPN role focuses on providing goal-directed and personalized nursing services. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, complete thorough assessments, and ensure accurate documentation of care plans. Your contribution will be key to enhancing the overall care experience for each resident.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver planned, patient-oriented nursing care
• Complete resident clinical care assessments timely
• Administer medications and document compliance
• Manage care conferences and educate families
• Respond to medical emergencies and changes in condition
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Experience in long-term care preferred
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills...
