Job Description
Elevate patient care as a Laboratory Assistant in Courtenay and Campbell River. This part-time role involves specimen collection, patient interaction, and preparing specimens for testing.
We are looking for a Laboratory Assistant to join our team under the BCGEU collective agreement. Candidates will be responsible for greeting patients, performing phlebotomies, and maintaining client relationships. This role requires time flexibility for shifts scheduled Monday to Saturday across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and explain specimen collection process
• Perform phlebotomies and conduct ECG tracings
• Handle special test collections and documentation
