Job Description
Lead the Parks Maintenance team with your expertise as a Supervisor in May of 2026. Manage staff, oversee budgets, and ensure public safety across City Parks.
This full-time role within the COMMUNITY SERVICES division focuses on supervising grounds maintenance staff and guiding District Parks Forepersons. You’ll be responsible for adapting operational services, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise parks maintenance operational staff
• Train and schedule District Parks Forepersons
• Manage outside contractor services
• Conduct parkland inspections for safety
• Implement monthly operating budgets
Requirements:
• College Diploma/Certificate in Landscape Technology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in Parks Maintenance
• Proven leadership in training and staff management
• Computer literacy and basic accounting skills
