Job Description
Empower Indigenous families as an Early Childhood and Parent Intervention Worker with Wiikwemkoong Child and Family Services. Play a key role in nurturing infants and toddlers at risk through education and advocacy.
This unique opportunity focuses on providing trauma-informed, culturally safe services to families with children aged 0-5. You will collaborate with community partners to create and enhance individualized wellness plans while monitoring their effects through regular home visits. Continuous professional development is also emphasized.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate and educate families in child care
• Deliver culturally safe services to at-risk families
• Develop wellness plans with First Nation partners
• Conduct home visits to assess wellness plan implementation
• Keep detailed records of case interactions
