Job Summary:
The pantry cook plays a vital role in the kitchen by preparing salads, appetizers, cold dishes, and fried items. This position requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation:
- Prepare a variety of cold dishes, including salads, charcuterie, and appetizers.
- Wash, peel, chop, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed while displaying excellent knife skills.
- Assist in the preparation of sauces, dressings, and dips.
2. Inventory Management:
- Maintain an organized pantry and refrigeration system.
- Monitor the freshness of ingredients and rotate stock to prevent spoilage.
- Assist in ordering supplies and maintaining inventory levels.
