Job Description
Perform all required duties to accumulate, fabricate, machine, assemble, fit, wire, finish, crate, and transport the materials and component parts necessary to build switch racks to individual customer specifications.Analyze job requirements from blueprints and schematics; occasionally use Workflow for reference purposes as required, note discrepancies, and refer problems or revisions to supervision.Work with Q.C. and customers during the final inspection of products.Pick parts and expedite materials as necessary to meet the production schedule.May use prescribed chemicals and steam cleaner to prepare rack surface and other electrical devices on occasion as required.Assemble and wire EBM’s, EPC’s, junction boxes, and other electrical devices as required. Fasten assemblies to frames.Work from ladders and scaffolding as necessary to construct racks.Determine proper size and length of conduit; cut and thread pipe. Fabricat...
