Job Description
Position Summary: Responsible for hanging and unloading raw steel parts on the paint conveyor line in a fast yet safe manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Load raw steel parts on the paint conveyor line using hooks according to production specifications/quantities while visually checking quality of parts being hung.
· Unload painted parts off the conveyor and inspect to ensure that quality standards are met before placing them on skids.
· Count parts and bundle utilizing banding machine and attach packaging material.
· Notify management of issues or concerns in a timely manner (e.g. machine malfunctions, inability to meet required schedule, safety concerns/hazards, etc.).
· Suggests improvements to promote quality, increase production, and safety.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with 5S standards.
