Job Description
Qualifications
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.
- Experience: 1 to less than 2 years.
- Work setting: Various locations.
- Transportation: Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean and sand surfaces for painting.
- Repair cracks and holes.
- Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
- Erect scaffolding, swing stages and attach rigging.
- Apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Brush painting, roller painting, drywall taping and patching.
Technical Skills and Physical Requirements
- Equipment and machinery experience.
- Surface preparation experience.
- Attention to detail and ability to distinguish colours.
- Weight handling up to 23kg (50lb).
