Job Description

Summary About the Position: Primarily serve as a spray painter, performing paint preparation and painting duties required to support all ammunition activities including inert and explosive ammunition items. Responsibilities Perform all types of painting work on interiors and exteriors of conventional ammunition items and guided missiles using brush, spray, and rollers. Prepare surfaces to be coated by methods such as scraping, sanding, wire brushing, and washing or wiping with a cleaning solvent and removing dust. Apply markings to ammunition items and guided missiles by stencils, rubber stamps or sprayer. Apply coating material to ammunition items and guided missiles assembled or unassembled to give special effects and smooth-textured while meeting thickness and level requirements.
