Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Primarily serve as a spray painter, performing paint preparation and painting duties required to support al ammunition activities including inert and explosive ammunition items. Responsibilities Perform all types of painting work on interiors and exteriors of conventional ammunition items and guided missiles using brush, spray, and rollers. Prepare surfaces to be coated by methods such as scraping, sanding, wire brushing, and washing or wiping with a cleaning solvent and removing dust.
