Packaging Operator - (Starts at $25.03, goes to $25.53 after 40 workdays) (a minimum of 2 years' experience in a high speed manufacturing operation)
Packaging Operators are responsible for running an entire production line, which includes - filler, carton code dater, check weigher, metal detector, cartoner, conveyor, glue machine and palletizer. At least 2 years’ hands-on experience working on a manufacturing floor in a high speed operation Work 12 hour shifts, flexible to work day or night, spending most of the time standing (starting shifts likely will be 4 pm — 4 am (alternating shifts — Week 1 (4 days), Week 2 (3 days) Work OT as required Learn quickly, proactive in efforts to maximize production & prevent downtime Work well with others in a team environment with frequent, effective, and quick communication Troubleshoot and operate manufacturing equipment to identify root causes of problems
