Job Description
**Job Title: Equipment Operator**
**Responsibilities**
+ Train on inventory locations and color codes for steel.
+ Operate indoor and outdoor cranes.
+ Perform general clean-up and housekeeping duties.
+ Pull beams and load flatbed trailers and railcars, including rigging.
+ Receive inventory and move materials using an overhead crane.
+ Fill out shipping reports and bills of lading.
+ Adhere to all safety rules while working around flatbed trucks and railcar systems.
+ Possibly train to be a saw or brake operator, forklift operator, or steel bending machine operator.
**Essential Skills**
+ Heavy industrial or construction experience required.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Ability to learn and retain information based on color coding.
+ Capability to lift up to 50lbs.
+ Experience operating equipment safely around heavy machinery.
